Alexander Schwarz Stonesculptor

The acrylic painting is a certain balance to busy sculpting. Instead of chisels and hammer I swing the brush. However, the big difference for me is the "fourth" dimension, color.

In classical sculpture, the color of the object is determined by the material and the life of the sculpture created by its shape. The painting takes a different approach. Here, the eye is a three-dimensionality on a two-dimensional plane of the canvas, fooled.

Nevertheless, the painting has now claimed its place in my work.

Again my interest are most of the time the human body and the portrait.
